Any work that involves moving, adding, or significantly modifying supply or drain lines requires a permit from the City & County of Honolulu. Simply replacing a like-for-like fixture (same location, same connections) typically doesn't. We advise on what requires permits and handle the process for you.
Can I use Alpha Omega as part of a larger remodel contractor team?
Absolutely. We work alongside GCs, kitchen designers, and bathroom remodel specialists regularly. We coordinate scheduling around other trades and communicate clearly about rough-in requirements so the rest of the project runs smoothly.
When in the remodel process do I need to call a plumber?
Early — before demo if possible. We need to understand what's being moved or added before walls open. If you're still in the design phase, we can advise on drain and supply line placement to make sure the design is feasible and cost-effective to plumb.

Yes. Adding plumbing to a new location — wet bar, outdoor kitchen, garage bathroom, or ADU — requires running new supply and drain lines from existing connections. We also handle new construction plumbing for full ADUs.
What's the lead time to schedule remodel plumbing?
For rough-in work, we generally need 1–2 weeks notice to align with your project timeline. Finish plumbing (fixture installation) can often be scheduled on shorter notice. Contact us early in your planning process so we can hold your dates.
